Does Alaska have Icy Roads?

You bet it does!

The other night I was driving on what I thought was dry pavement and did a bit of an in-car merry-go-round and bumped into a guard rail. I was lucky over all, because there were no other cars around and I slowed down a lot before I hit the rail. Smooshed the back bumper a little, but it's just cosmetic. I think a car is not really Alaskan unless it has a cracked windshield and a slightly smooshed bumper. Now I fit right in.

Also, a few additional astro pics. We've been sufficiently clouded in for the last week or two and it doesn't look like it will break any time soon.

I'm gearing up for a little trip to Maryland to visit Cheri and her new house which I am very excited about. Leaving on Tuesday and will return before Thanksgiving.

Gotta run,
