Time for new tires?
So I was out taking pictures on the mining roads east of town on Sunday and got myself into a bit of a Fathers Day pickle... I was a good 10 miles out in the hills at 7pm when I saw this mud hole and thought "I can make that". After 2 hours of trying to dig out the Nissan with an ice scraper, I decided I needed a rescue. I called my coworker James and he came to my aid, like a gallant superhero, and pulled me out with his real off-road vehicle, a Toyota.
So I am officially founding The Official James Walton Fan Club. If you would like to join The Official James Walton Fan Club, please send an official self-addressed stamped envelope to:

A 10-pound hammer, a 3-foot long solid steel rod (tapered at the end), and a Come-A-Long would likely have gotten you out of the pickle.
Remember the Boy Scout motto...Be Prepared.

If you were a pro like me, you could have pushed it out.
Don't fret, everybody gets stuck once or twice. That's how you learn not to get stuck.
Stuck once or twice myself, Uncle Steve
Brings back my Ohio Power days. If it didn't take you guys a hundred years to grow a four foot tree you could've gotten out with no problem.

p.s. Where did you find that big ass piece of wood way out there??? That thing looks pretty valuable!
Nice quagmire, Jared! I heard if you add enough beer the mud will solidify and you'll be able to drive out. Of course, that's 'cause it'd be August by the time you got around to trying to move it. But it is just another example of how versatile beer is.
Nice! Looks like you need to buy a bigger ice scraper.
