Lynxen!
What's the plural for Ox? Oxen.
Ok, now whats the plural for Lynx?
I saw my first real Lynx yesterday! Two of them even. A pack of lynxen, you might say. Previously, I had seen the butt of a lynx for about 1/100th of a second as it jumped from the road into the brush.
They look like a 40 pound house cat with over sized paws for floatation in snow, and are pretty elusive in these parts. Many people go years without sighting one. They are actually kind of scary when they are standing 20 feet away.
It was getting dark, but I got one good picture ;-)

Hey! How are you doing? The new posts are awesome. I loved Into the Wild so I appreciated the bus visit! I am sure there will be many more visitors with the movie coming out. If you haven't heard, I am in West Virginia now working at a Water/Wastewater firm. It is definitely a different world down here.
